It seems like September passed in the blink of an eye and here we are, getting ready for Halloween! The holiday season is nearly upon us.
The past month brought us some administrative changes as our Community Partner, GATHER, closed its local doors. Since the GATHER address in downtown Santa Cruz was our home office location, this meant we needed to find a new “home” for our operations.
It was an easy decision to shift to a new location where we receive mail, but nothing else, since with the change to our statewide brand our needs have also changed. For instance, although the annual Holiday Party is a central part of our origin story, with our bigger footprint it no longer makes sense to host it in person. As our membership grows, we will add chapters ~ which will again offer the opportunity to gather with other California Coaches near you.
Looking forward, October is the month of our annual Board Retreat, when we look at where we’ve been, where we are, and where we’re going in the year ahead. I love this visioning event as it’s a potent time to come together around our intention and mission.
