April was an exciting month for California Coaches, largely because of one thing: our Executive Director, Kimberly Errigo, turned in her resignation from her roles as the President, Chair of the Board, and Executive Director of California Coaches. Kimberly is moving on to serve the US Department of Energy as an executive coach and organizational development consultant, and we are wishing her well!
Seven years ago, Kimberly started this organization with her dream of a holiday party — and she has been the source of technical expertise as well as the heart and passion that’s kept it going. She will continue to guide the organization and be a resource for the board and operations team until our new leader is seated at our Elections in October.
“I am deeply grateful for all the current and past board members who stepped up and demonstrated a real commitment to this organization’s potential over the past seven years. I have been honored to call you my colleagues and in many cases, my dear friends.
It has been a pleasure to bring California Coaches into being, and I am so proud of all we have accomplished!”
If you’re already a member of California Coaches, please know that we remain committed to serving our members and being an important source of support for coaches in California. Thank you for your trust and your attention — we couldn’t have come this far without you! (If you aren’t yet a member, it’s still a great time to join!)
We want to extend a BIG Thank You to Kimberly for her commitment to the coaching profession and her effort to bring this community together. It’s impossible to quantify how much work, energy, and attention she has given this organization over the past seven years. She’s leaving big shoes to fill!
A new chapter is opening up at California Coaches. We’re excited about the possibilities that lie ahead!
With great appreciation,
Meg, Debbie, Karmen, Anne, David, Jeffrey, and Kimberly

PS Have you been thinking about board service, but haven’t gotten around to it? The board is currently seeking new board members who will see us through this major leadership transition! If that might be you, please review this page and then reach out to chat about it.
